ASA 2026 Club Interest Form

We’re exploring the idea of registering Couch Potato Run Club as an official ASA (Athletics South Africa) club from 2026!

This means you’d be able to get a permanent race licence, access discounted race entries, run officially in club kit, and take part in exclusive club events, long runs, and race day meet ups.

Before we take the leap, we want to know who’s actually keen. This is not a sign-up - just a way for us to gauge interest and get your feedback.

Would you be interested in joining Couch Potato Run Club as an ASA-registered club member in 2026?
Do you know what an ASA licence number is?

An ASA licence is a permanent race number for the year. Instead of buying a “temporary licence” for every race, you wear this licence at any ASA-approved race. You also get to race officially as part of a running club, like Couch Potato Run Club.

Have you entered any races before?

ASA clubs usually charge a yearly membership fee. Would you be open to paying a fee in the region of R400–R700 per year for: ASA licence, Club admin and access, club vest/shirt. How do you feel about that?
